Plan limits
- Free: three local guides, one active hosted guide at a time, and 100 MB of hosted storage.
- Pro: NZ$39 per month, unlimited saved and hosted guides, 5 GB of hosted storage, custom branding, and no ShowHow badge.
- Pro storage add-ons: NZ$5 per month for each additional 5 GB, up to seven add-ons.
Local storage and hosted storage are different
Capture and editing happen locally in Chrome. Screenshots and guide data stay on your device until you select Publish.
Hosted storage is the space used by active published guides. The extension also checks available browser storage before capture and warns when local space is low.
Manage connected browsers
A connected browser is an approved installation of the ShowHow extension that can publish to your account. You can revoke any browser from Settings. Revoking it stops future publishing but does not remove guides already online.
